Since September 1989 Dean Nickerson has been "Making Horsepower, Not Promises" from his Bristol, PA based shop.

Dean started boat racing in the early '70's, at the age of 16. At the end of the his first year he earned a 90% win rate. By 1989 Dean won the world record for the fastest Pro-Gas flat bottom drag boat (Take That) at 142.40 MPH / 7.52 ET. In 1990 Dean was the Hi-Point Champion and undefeated in two seperate organizations. Also in 1989 12 out of the Top 50 Pro-Stock Drag cars were racing with his carburetors.

Dean was able to take a hobby and turn it into a full time job. He is convinced that his versatility in racing on both the track and water has given him a better knowledge of how to apply power to anything he builds.

Currently assisting Dean is his wife Cheryl, his two sons, Ryan and Brad and two other employees.

The shop hours are Monday thru Friday 9:30AM - 5PM ET time. Tuesday,Wedesday,Thursday till 7:30 by appointment, and some weekends by appointment
